Kassidy's Mission Statement

The man behind Kassidy's Salon Management Consultants brings with him over thirty years of experience in the salon and spa industry.

Kenneth N. Cassidy, a licensed hairdresser for over thirty years, holds numerous awards and credits from this industry. As a licensed Cosmetology Instructor, Ken has served on the Advisory Board of Cerritos College Cosmetology Department, Cerritos, California, for over six years. he is also a member of the Long Beach Hairdressers Guild Foundation, PBA, NCA, CCA, PBFC among others.

As Educational Director for two international trade show companies, he created and designed the Business Management segment for the "Long Beach Hairdressers" and "International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference".

Ken sponsored Senate Bill 1134 by California State Senator Betty Karnette. This bill would have leveled the playing field in the salon industry for the salon owner, the booth renter and the Employment Development Department (EDD, a California Employment Agency), giving everyone the same set of rules to play by in California.

He has been a salon owner of three salons and has operated a combined booth rental and employee based salon for over thirty years.

Ken Cassidy has been published in every major trade publication in the beauty industry, including American Salon, Modern Salon, Nails Magazine, Nail Pro, Dermascope, Salon Today, Les Nouvelles Esthetiques, Stylist Salon Sense and Behind the Chair.com, to name a few.
